Future photography trips: 2027 and 2028
I’m planning the next run of small group photography trips, with a maximum of four guests, practical tuition and locations chosen around the light and weather. Some are confirmed dates and others are ideas I’m researching to see where the genuine interest is. Broadly speaking, if my van can get there safely and legally, there’s the potential for me to build a photography workshop around it.
Planned trips
North Wales: 29th November to 2nd December 2027
Four days in Snowdonia and Anglesey, planned around dramatic winter conditions, coast and mountain landscapes. Online deposits are expected to open on 1st November 2026. If you want to secure a place sooner, contact me about paying the deposit by BACS.Assynt spring week: 1st to 8th April 2028
A seven day spring trip before Easter and early enough to reduce the midge risk. Online deposits are expected to open on 4th March 2027.Assynt autumn week: 15th to 22nd October 2028
A further seven day autumn trip for anyone who cannot make the 2027 dates. Online deposits are expected to open on 17th September 2027.Moray Coast and Cairngorms return trip: dates to be confirmed
Another small group trip combining the coast, mountain landscapes and changing Highland conditions.Aberdeenshire photography week: dates to be confirmed
A new seven day trip exploring the coastline, castles, woodland and wider landscape of Aberdeenshire.
Prices and final booking pages will be published only after accommodation, transport and the full trip costs are confirmed. - Ireland’s Atlantic coast, building a route around the strongest landscape and seascape locations rather than trying to rush the entire coast
- Orkney photography trip
- Shetland and Unst, including Cold War and wartime heritage where public access is confirmed
- Other Scottish islands, shaped around access, ferries, accommodation and the best seasonal light
The overseas and military heritage ideas need proper access, insurance, customs and local permission research before I offer them for sale. They are interest checks at this stage, not bookings.
