Join me for an insightful discussion on mental health and how photography can offer support.
In early 2018, while pursuing my Master's degree, I unknowingly found myself slipping into a deepening depression, triggered by overwork and other external pressures.
During this talk, I’ll share the personal strategies that helped me through, while creating a body of work that earned both my Master's degree and an Associate distinction from the Royal Photographic Society.
We’ll explore the importance of self-care, balancing creativity with well-being, and embracing the joy of simply being present, rather than constantly feeling the need to produce. I’ll also share the techniques I used in creating my work, which has been on display at Norwich University of the Arts from 2018 until 2024, when the university underwent renovations.

Join me for an in-depth discussion on the creation of my photographic project, "Night Bunkers."
What began as a university project in 2015 during my third year has since evolved into a true passion.
Initially, I started by photographing a few pillboxes and bunkers in Norfolk. However, as the project developed, I found myself driving over 500 miles across two nights in East Anglia, capturing the WWII structures that fascinated me both for their location and design. I chose to photograph them during the night, at dusk, or dawn—times when these sites are rarely visited.
During this talk, I’ll share insights into the lighting techniques I used, the safety precautions I took, and the environmental challenges I encountered while shooting through the winter of 2015-2016.

Join me for an insightful discussion on Happisburgh’s striking yet tragic, ever-changing coastline. Known for its rapid erosion, with the land disappearing at an average rate of 1.7 meters per year, this part of the Norfolk coast holds a unique beauty despite its challenges. Over the past 14 years, I’ve focused on capturing its allure, rather than just documenting the erosion. During the talk, we’ll cover filters, camera techniques, and some of the post-processing workflows I use to enhance these stunning landscapes.
