Fitness Level: Generally fit. The furthest walking distance is around 40 minutes from the car, and there will be uphill walking involved, albeit, it a slow pace.

Join me for an unforgettable photography workshop in the stunning Snowdonia and Anglesey regions of North Wales.

Accommodation:

Stay in well-located accommodation with private rooms for each attendee. The accommodation is perfectly positioned for many of the locations we plan to visit, making it an ideal base for the workshop.

A light breakfast will be provided each morning, including basic cereals, toast, orange juice, coffee and hot drinks.

Lunches, dinners, snacks and meals out are not included in the workshop price.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, we’ll have the option to eat back at the accommodation to help keep things relaxed and keep costs down. If the group would prefer to eat out on any of those evenings, that’s absolutely fine too and we can decide as we go.

Photography Opportunities:

The Snowdonia and Anglesey region is packed with incredible landscape photography opportunities, from dramatic mountain views and sweeping valleys to abandoned quarries, rugged coastlines, lighthouses and sea stacks.

During the workshop we’ll explore a mix of mountain and coastal locations, with possible locations including South Stack Lighthouse, Trefor Sea Stacks and some of the classic viewpoints around Snowdonia National Park. The area offers a huge variety of conditions, textures and changing light, making it a brilliant place to build a strong set of landscape images over a few days.

Workshop Itinerary:

Monday:

  • Check in at the accommodation

  • Sunset shoot

  • Dinner outing

Tuesday - Thursday:

  • Sunrise shoot

  • Return for breakfast or stop for breakfast/lunch depending on location and conditions

  • Photography through the day until sunset

  • Evening meal option at the accommodation

Friday:

  • Sunrise shoot

  • Check out of the accommodation

  • Depart home after the sunrise shoot

The exact locations may change depending on weather, light, access and conditions. The aim is always to put the group in the best places at the best times, rather than sticking rigidly to a fixed plan if the conditions are better elsewhere.
