From the Norfolk coast to a Broads sunset
Begin on the Norfolk coast, working with winter light, shoreline features and moving water, before travelling inland to finish the day photographing a windmill in the Norfolk Broads at sunset.
The route combines two distinctive Norfolk landscapes in one focused afternoon. Exact locations will be chosen around the weather, light, tides and access so that we can spend our time where the strongest photographic opportunities are likely to be.
Who this workshop is for
This workshop is suitable for all abilities. Beginners can receive step-by-step help with camera settings and exposure, while more experienced photographers can focus on composition, filters and refining their approach to changing light.

What you will learn
Choosing camera settings for different landscape conditions

How the workshop works
We will start on the coast and then travel to the Norfolk Broads for sunset. The workshop provides approximately four hours 45 minutes of practical tuition in a small group, with time for individual guidance at each location.
Travel between locations
You will need your own vehicle to reach the meeting point and travel between locations during the workshop. Travel and parking costs are not included. Final meeting details and the chosen route will be emailed before the day.
What is included

Individual help with settings, exposure, filters and composition
A maximum group of five photographers
A route selected for the expected light, weather, tides and access
What to bring
Your camera, charged batteries and memory cards
A selection of lenses suitable for landscape photography
A sturdy tripod
Neutral-density and graduated filters if you have them
Warm, waterproof clothing and suitable footwear
A lens cloth and protection for your equipment

Locations may change if the weather, tides or access make another option more productive or safer. Please dress for a winter afternoon outdoors and follow any location-specific safety advice.
About your guide
I am Dibs McCallum, a commercial photographer since 2011 with a Master's degree in Photography. I will help you make informed technical choices while developing photographs that reflect your own way of seeing the Norfolk landscape.
