London Photography Workshop – Explore the City with your camera and like-minded people
Discover several of London's Most Iconic Locations on the River Thames
Join me for an unforgettable photography experience in London, where we’ll capture the city's most famous landmarks and hidden gems. This workshop offers a fantastic day of photography, from the midday sun to the magic of sunset, giving you a fresh perspective on London’s urban beauty.
Whether you’re into architecture, street photography, or long exposures, this workshop will provide a variety of scenes to enhance your portfolio. We’ll wrap up the day with a breathtaking urban sunset shoot, showcasing London’s skyline in its finest light.
Workshop Highlights
Dynamic Photo Walk Route: Follow a carefully planned route featuring London's iconic architecture and historical landmarks along the Thames.
Mixed Photography Styles: Explore architecture, street scenes, and long-exposure techniques.
Expert Guidance: While this is a photo walk rather than a formal workshop, I’m always available to offer tips and advice to help you improve your skills.
Flexible Itinerary: Locations will be adapted to weather and lighting conditions to ensure the best shots of the day.
What to Expect
Active Exploration: Wear comfortable shoes and pack light for a location-packed day.
Travel Between Spots: We will use river taxis or the London Underground to maximise our shooting time (additional costs apply). This is typically around £15 for the day’s travel
Photographer-Focused: This workshop is designed for photographers, not casual phone photography enthusiasts.
Planned Shooting Locations
While flexibility is key to maximising our opportunities, we aim to cover highlights such as:
The Thames Barrier
London Bridge & The Shard (from the riverbank)
City Hall
Essential Kit for the Day
DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
Spare Batteries & Memory Cards
Wide-angle & Zoom Lens
Sturdy Tripod
Lens Cleaning Kit
Weather-appropriate Clothing
Comfortable Footwear
Food & Drink
Additional Details
Transport: If needed, I’m happy to carpool from Norwich, my starting location, sharing fuel costs. We’ll park at Westfield Stratford City and take the tube to the starting location.
Booking Note: This is a dedicated trip for photographers aiming to capture stunning shots, not a casual walkabout.
Don’t miss this opportunity to explore London through your lens. Book your spot today and let’s create stunning images together!
